The Service Area is defined in two parts:
  1. Areas below 4218 feet elevation:
    • Eastern Box Elder, Weber and Davis Counties. Eastern Box Elder County is defined as those areas east of the Promontory Mountain Range as defined by the Promontory Guide Meridian between Range 5 West and Range 6 West.
    • Any size of impact can be authorized to be mitigated at the MLA.
    • Excluding all springs.
    • Impacts within this portion of the Primary Service Area will be mitigated at a minimum of a 1:1 ratio
  2. Areas between 4218 and 4275 feet elevation:
    • Eastern Box Elder, Weber and Davis Counties. Eastern Box Elder County is defined as those areas east of the Promontory Mountain Range as shown on Figure 3A.
    • Ability to mitigate up to 2 acres of wetland impacts without MBRT review/input.
    • Mitigation of impacts over 2 acres requires MBRT review/input.
    • Similar soils as at the Bank as described in section 6.6.
    • Similar wetland types as at the Bank as described in section 6.8.
    • Excluding all springs.
    • Impacts within this portion of the Primary Service Area will be mitigated at a minimum of a 1:1 ratio.
The Secondary Service Area is defined as:
  1. All areas below the Gilbert Shoreline including the Western portion of Box Elder County as shown on Figure 3A; Salt Lake and Tooele Counties; excluding the Shoreland SAMP study area in Salt Lake County and the Tooele SAMP study in the Tooele Valley.
  2. Ability to mitigate up to 2 acres of wetland impacts without MBRT review/input.
  3. Mitigation of impacts over 2 acres requires MBRT review/input.
  4. Soils as at the Bank as described in section 6.6.
  5. Wetland types as at the Bank as described in section 6.8.
  6. Excluding all springs.
  7. Impacts in the Secondary Service Area will be mitigated at a minimum of a 2:1 ratio.
